This STUPID fucking AI feature in Instagram's search function is fucking UGLY it clogs up the UI it shoves shit in my face I'm NOT interested in I do NOT want to imagine an alien handbag or whatever insipid tripe AI aficionados like GET THIS SHIT OUT OF MY FACE

and even when I go to APK sites to download earlier versions of Instagram it STILL comes back like a fuckign weed (not the 420 kind)... maybe this is my fault for using Instagram as my primary "IRL" socmed site... maybe i need to stop using "IRL socmed" sites

I also use insta to keep up with family, and I have to limit it to 15 minutes a day lest I get violently angry at how shit it is. Ganbare, my friend. *shakes hand*

At least the web/desktop site leaves out a lot of the problems I have with it (chrono order, no AI in the search bar, a search bar that doesn't force you to look at rec'd shit)... Although it's probably a matter of time before that stuff goes out the window. And of course you can only post on the app... -_-

Too bad the one (1) FOSS frontend for Insta (Bibliogram) has a fucky UI and only works on public accts. Otherwise I wouldve switched to it.

OK you're right, it wasn't Bibliogram that I was thinking of. The frontend I tried out was called "Picuki". And like I said, it has a fucky UI and only works on public accs. Plus I don't even think you can actually post on it, so that kills my chance of ever using it.
